What do they do -Design, innovation and the creation of things that work form the dialog between successful professional product designers and their consumers. The competitive marketplace constantly needs new professionals equipped with creative design skills, sound understanding of technology and market needs.
Getting Ahead –All these knowledge is needed by a good designer to produce commercially successful and sustainable new products.
Skills & Knowledge –This course introduces students to the design in the three dimensional world covering aesthetics, color, light and material, form-ergonomics and anthropometrics space planning, structural and mechanical principles. While responsible for the aesthetic and functional qualities of designed objects, students will also learn the importance of efficiency, cost, safety and the environmental impact of their products.
This programme is structured as a 2 years Advanced Diploma in Product Design. Upon successful completion of the Advanced Diploma students may elect to undertake a progression programme leading to a Bachelor of Design from Raffles College Pty Ltd, trading as Raffles College of Design and Commerce.Study at Raffles Beijing, you will learn Professional design knowledge, and practice your creative skill.
